Inspiring Exchange at the EDB NET Section Workshop

Merit award winners from last May’s Time to Talk Public Speaking Competition—Chan Alena Wai Yan, Ng Tze Ying Catherine, and Yeung Lucida (from class 5A)—attended an inspiring professional development workshop titled ‘Enriching English Learning through the NET Section Competitions’ alongside their teachers Ms. Wan and Mr. Li.

Held at the EDB Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre, the event gathered secondary schools from across Hong Kong to celebrate creative English learning. Teachers were delighted to watch students showcase their performances in the various competitions organised by the NET Section.

The highlight was a market place activity, where teachers visited stations to ask questions, and students shared their heartfelt thoughts, feelings, and reflections on their competition learning journey. The students shone bright as they confidently articulated their experiences.

It was a remarkably rewarding exchange where participating teachers gained valuable insights and fresh ideas to implement back at school for future student training. We are immensely proud of our students' enthusiasm and look forward to even greater achievements ahead!
