HKVEP Workplace English Contest 2016 – Champion Award

Congratulations to Janessa Ng Wai Yan, Stephanie Tsang Nga Man (S.4), Michelle Chan Long Ki and Karis Yu Ming Sum (S.5) for their Champion Award in the secondary school category. There were over 110 entries from secondary schools and post-secondary schools in this year’s contest organised by the Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP).The theme of the contest was ‘Career On Air’ and teams had to produce a 5 – 7 minute radio show on the topic of jobs and careers. The girls practised their script writing skills, worked on voice presentation as well as researching different types of careers to produce a radio phone-in show called ‘Weird Careers’. An award presentation ceremony will be held on Saturday 12th November, 2016.
